Sclerotherapy & Microsclerotherapy

Many people, both men and women, develop broken capillaries, varicose veins or spider veins at some point in their lives, as a result of pregnancy, hereditary factors or other causes. The appearance of these veins often causes people to become embarassed, but they can be treated.

Sclerotherapy and microsclerotherapy are procedures that are used to treat broken capillaries and spider veins in order to diminish their appearance. An irritant solution is injected directly into the affected vein, irritating to the wall of the blood vessel and causes it to shrink gradually over a period of about 6 weeks. Generally, several treatments are required, depending on the severity of the problem, but the end result shows considerable improvement in the appearance of the treated veins.

So if you would like to improve the appearance of those bothersome veins, make an appointment to speak to Dr Bada about sclerotherapy or microsclerotherapy today.
