Jo-Anne Dembo is an Accredited Practising Dietitian, available for on-site consultations at the Ellenbrook Medical Centre. She has a Bachelor's degree in Food Science and Nutrition, a Postgraduate Diploma in Health Promotion as well as Honors in Dietetics. She is the founder and Principal Dietitian of Diet By D’zyne, a private practice with several clinics located throughout the Perth Metropolitan area.

Jo-Anne is an expert at implementing nutritional programs and teaches the basic skills of holistic health together with the motivational skills and the necessary tools to achieve weight management goals.

Her objective is to assist people to understand nutrition from the basic elements. Jo-Anne specializes in nutritional counseling in a one on one setting as well as through online support. Furthermore, she often presents nutrition information at forum group settings.

Jo-Anne particularly emphasizes the importance of both weight reduction as well as weight maintenance. Her other areas of specialty include diabetes, hyperlipidaemia, hypertension, eating disorders, pregnancy and infant nutrition, childhood obesity, osteoporosis as well as gastrointestinal disorders such as Irritable Bowel Syndrome and Coeliac Disease.
